On our way to Lincoln, we stopped off to take a quick hike through Platte River State Park in Louisville, NE.
The park is filled with a series of short, crisscrossing trails that run along the Platte River. The hillsides along the river are filled with trees and a series of small creeks, tiny waterfalls, and drying creek beds that draw a wide variety of interesting plant and animal life. We even happened along a cheerful little snail who seemed to be enjoying the trail almost as much as we did.
